Subject: [Leica] Domestic Violence Photo Essay

They don't work for me either.  They seem to exploit a really tragic
situation (especially for the children), just my take.    I have a friend
who was a police officer until he burned out.  One day he answered a
domestic violence call, where a perp had beaten his wife pretty badly.
Fortunately, she grabbed a pistol (a Colt .38 Super auto, not your everyday
weapon) while she still could and landed a torso hit, unfortunately not
lethal.  Before he left the scene, my friend couldn't resist pointing out to
her that the pistol held eight rounds, not just one.  I told him, good
police work and advice as usual.  Not sure what there was about this photo
essay that made me think of that story........

Flake meets flake and starts flaking. Very depressing, and all too common...
Sadly, the images don't work for me. Is work the right word?
