Phil,

I have the late model of this lens, which allows 90 degree rotation while on 
a tripod.  I like it a lot.  I often use it with a Leica 2X extender.  In my 
case, I use it on an Olympus E-510, so I don't use the full frame.  Focusing 
is quite critical, so the Live View of the 510 comes into play.

I recently noted your question on RFF about the Summaron, but my reply 
didn't find you.  The lens works fine for me, on my Bessa R2a.
