Maybe I am wrong, but I thought if your were willing to look like a tourist
your could use the live view function on the main LCD to focus using focus
peaking; just like the Nex series does.  I find with macro subjects being
able to move a little away from the subject and examine the screen for
focus and composition is a lot like how I used a baby Linhof.
