Thank you for the info and analysis Lluis.
I think you are right. The new Apo generation is certainly an
improvement when used wide open. But is it worth paying double for one
more stop?
Not for me. In some cases I take a small or heavy tripod. It's
astonishing what you can do at night with an M-9 and a tripod.
