Subject: [Leica] IMG: UC Davis Mondavi Wine Institute

I'm continuing my exploration of textures in architecture.

These were taken today at the (relatively) new Mondavi Wine Institute here
at UC Davis.

Many people don't like the color. I do. It doesn't match the Mondavi Center
for the performing arts which is almost directly across the street, a very
good thing to my mind.

I find myself responding to the textures and the shading from the surface as
it weathers.

Shot with NEX-7, Leica summicron 35mm at f8.

Several of the images are HDR - just to see how it works. I won't know until
I print them.

This was a time when I really wanted a color panel to assist in the color
adjustment.

Thanks for looking.

Adam
