In case any of you are interested:
The parade is on Sunday May 26th(not on Monday). At 9:30am there will be a
half hour indigenous ceremony with the parade starting at 10:00 (24th and
Bryant). This year?s Carnaval-SF website: www.carnavalsanfrancisco.org

BONUS INFORMATION: Do you want to get a photo credential for this year?s
event? (allows you to get inside the ropes during the parade and gives you
a little extra cachet when you ask someone to pose for you) If so, here is
how to do it:

Send the following info to Carnaval-SF?s media guy Jude heller: Jude.heller
at gmail.com

Name of Photographer
Total number of PHOTO CREDENTIALS requested
Affiliation or Employer using images
URL where images will be displayed or utilized
Cell Phone of on-site contact (no exceptions)
Email of on-site photographer

If you say you are a freelance or independent photographer (third bullet
point), that seems to be acceptable, and when you ask for it, use the term
?photo credential?, as that is the term Carnaval uses. Approved credentials
are to be picked up the day of the parade, at 8:00am at the parade
grandstands on Mission Street between 20th and 21st Streets. Bring photo ID
with you to pick up your credentials.
