Subject: [Leica] [OT] Help finding housing around Monterey/Seaside/Salinas

Given all of the Monterey/Carmel images I've seen come across the
group I thought I'd hazard a call for ideas.

A friend is finishing medical school this summer and starting her
rotations in Salinas.  She's currently cramming for her licensing exam
and only has a week after the exam to move out of her Bay Area digs
and find a place to live down there.

I told her I'd ask around and see if I could scare up any leads for
her.

She's been looking around Monterey, which I gather is about a 30
minute drive from her hospital in Salinas.

Ideally she could get herself hooked up with a reasonable group living
situation before she goes down there for real.

Alternatively, having a stable place to stay for 1-2 months while she
gets over her exam and gets the lay of the land would let her find a
more permanent situation without freaking out.

Any ideas?
