Why do you need to correct the vignetting? I often use it for effect ;-) And 
as Geoff says, the S/S2 is another level of detail even compared to 75mm APO 
Summicron! However since I started using Leica, I have realised that lenses 
can have character which can be more important that absolute sharpness...

doing correction in post-processing.

Makes you wonder what kind of images an M960 with the 50 'cron asph would 
produce!
