Good. All set to sand/Dremel away later today.... I have 2 EBay Leica caps
( cost total for 2 was about $3) that have a raised outer lip.
Will get rid of the lip and flatten the surfaces, then use the glue....

Yes, that is exactly what I do. For example, the Fuji X rear caps have the
raised edge and the raised Fuji letters. I file all that away with the
Dremel, takes just a few minutes. This has the added advantage of leaving
the surfaces a bit rough which further facilitates the bonding.
