Subject: [Leica] Southern France

Peter:

Your post has me worried! It happens I'll be in Southern France with my M9,
Canon SLR-Zoom,  and handy Nikon Coolpix S9900 the end of this month. What
am I getting into? Dr. Leon Pomeroy, Northern Virginia, USA. Re: "In case

France with maybe as many as 19 dead according to some reports. It is tragic
but the news coverage has produced some amazing shots. I particularly like
number 9 in the following sequence: In cannes 190 mm (about 8 ins) fell in 7
hours with about 100mm (4 ins) between 6 and 7pm. It looks like a number of
people were killed trying to get their cars to safety in underground car
