Have any of you had the electrical problem that was reported at

I suspect I now have the problem.

I thought that my original 2010 Leica battery was simply too old to hold a
charge any more, so I replaced it with a new Leica battery.  The problem
did not go away.

A fully charged battery not only seems to not last very long, but the
camera seems to get warm even when it is turned off.  I believe it has
developed a short circuit of some type internally.

Leica AG customer care has referred me to the Leica repair people in the
US.  I'll let you know what I hear back.
