I have deleted the original mail, sorry, but she asked about a Mac laptop, and some suggested an iMac or MacPro as an alternative if it would be home based. She has been having some pc problems! Frank ps I started writing software in 1970 and stopped in around 1986, mainly because it was only part of what I did and getting what I considered to be a good computer to use. I did use a Grid for a while but it was a painfully slow machine, its only saving grace was its robustness!
