Was that the dad? A Cosina SLR was a quite nice option to Minolta or Mamiya or Miranda or Yashica. Nobody complained. Nobody said "not don't use your own name for gods sake use German ones instead you'll make more money" As a person who is very familiar with what a Voigtl?nder or Zeiss product looks like and feels like and what they do it went down funny as the lack of integrity behind the whole thing is really just odd. I mean why use your own name when you can buy someone's better? I can think of a few.
