I would say get an R4 (preferably an sP, but a straight R4 should be find
for your purposes, and much less expensive than any SL2 that still works).=

Then get a Motor Drive R (much better than the Motor R4.)=20

A 180mm lens would get you close as long as they're not in the middle, and
a 1.4 Apo converter works very well with the newest version of the 180
f/2.8 Elmarit R. And it's a great lens, bright, and quick focusing.=20
