LOL ! i must have a criminal tendency....goes with the lens perhaps...

in the night there is much that is pointy !

i will try a thinner filter, or perhaps a lens hood (the one that is on there
is....um....i hesitate to tarnish or besmirch Leica's name on this mailing list...
..."less than optimal"...)...

...your answer raises a question though:

what is a "normal vignetting" ??

i should try some shots without the filter and see for myself...
