i think it's part of the human condition for people who have struggled to achieve
something to look askance at others who seem not to have had a similar struggle
to achieve the same thing.

this isn't a justification of course, but in a certain sense the way some people
are born into families with substatial resources while others are born to
families with a correspondingly severe lack of resources is also unjustifiable.

in general, it seems kind of churlish for anyone who owns a leica to decry
anyone elses ownership....yet such is life. let's be thankful that such wonderful
tools exist and celebrate them by shooting pictures, whether they be out of
focus, improperly exposed, poorly composed, mistimed or "perfect shots"...
