Thank you George.

The 6 1/2 minutes at 68 degrees in stock solution makes sense. I have never
used stock solution Xtol so I don't know exactly what to expect in grain,
sharpness, density, etc. I typically develop my negatives at 10% to 25% less
than manufacturers recommended times. This seems to work out best for me.

I have noticed that the development time for Fuji Neopan 1600 in stock Xtol is
5 3/4 minutes at 68 degrees. So, the 6 1/2 minutes, if there is a relation
between the two films, seems to make sense.

Thanks again for your input. I will post my results after my test.

I gave the recommendation above. It is based on a standard developing temp
of 68F. Continuous agitation first 20s, then a 5s inversion every 30s until
 completion.

Bernhard Wingerter <Bernd_Wingerter@csi.com> added his comments regarding
Xtol (Stock) development, from published sources. They suggest half a
minute longer, but nothing is mentioned about agitation. Take your pick.

I would suggest you try either of the above before you attempt to
overdevelop based on the you received:
 "1:1 @75F for 15 minutes for [ab]normal negatives at 1600 ISO. "
