Bill,
Actually we were at Jefferson Circut. The motorcycle guys had Summit. We
being Riesentoter, btw. Add working the skid pad and you can see that time
was somewhat limited for cavorting around, so for good reason the F100 won -
for my use of course. The weight of the noct didn't bother me since I had
my support vehicle with me and didn't have to carry it all that long :->
Besides with the F100 and 90-200 2.8, the M6/noct seems like a pocket
camera.
I once brought my Hassy to Summit to prove it could be done. Many folks
are positive that you can't use something like that. Granted it was a pain
but it did work. Unfortunately it seemed to be a pain most of the time for
me so it went away and the M6 on steriods came - the Mamiya 6. (Brought
that too but neve got it out of the case).
