Try f5.6 on a 80-200 f2.8 zoom ( competitor ;-) that I recently
tried out for a day. Unreal, the amount of light fall-off at f2.8 &
f4!  

One of the many virtues of Leica lenses ; ( most of them
anyway ;-) are their highly usable apertures when wide
open. And, their build quality...a whole "nother" topic.
