Well, I don't use mine as a lens cap;  I use 'em to couple lenses.  The M
Coupler is a LOT stronger and heavier than a lens cap and you don't have to
sweat whether the glue you used will come a-gley.  If you wish, take a
round plastic disk and glue THAT inside an M Coupler:  cheaper, stronger,
less emotional stress, and it doesn't look as crappy as a home kludge would.
