Bob, your cassettes are for the M cameras. The silver 'knob" on the top is 
the give-away. The screwmount cassette is 2 mm taller and has a black knob. 
The good news is that you can use the M-cassette in the screw-mount camera 
(but not the screw-mount cassette in the M-mount). It was a cassette system 
dedicated to Leica and, to my knowledge, does not work on any other camera 
system. The later M6 cameras lack the specific catch on the baseplate lock to 
open and close the cassette.
