If you aren't sure you'll care for that frame line, why not try it out with 
a Jupiter 9 and an adapter first?
A lot easier on the wallet if you find that it's not a focal length that 
you care for and a good example of a 85/2 Jupiter 9 isn't really a bad lens 
at all.

Just a thought. (Or were you talking specifically about the Leica 90s 
themselves and not the Focal Length overall?)

BTW...I greatly enjoyed "Attendant" and your edgy yet clean site design is 
humorous and refreshing.
