Subject: [Leica] 24mm testing one two three

I'm beginning to grow into a 24mm lens but just cant make the full $2K
decision/commitment for my M6 yet. After reading Tom's apraisal on of the
Cosina I started wondering.. and checked out Stephen Gandy's prices to see
if I could do some testing on my M6 for less than the Leitz layout. While I
use the 24 on a SLR, I'm not sure if it is the right choice for me on the
M6. Your thoughts on the following are appreciated.

1) Nikon to M adapter with 24mm f2.8 MF Nikkor + Cosina 25mm VF = $240 or
2) Voigtlander 25mm + VF = $289.

Does anyone have any experience with the adapters. I think I know the answer
= Voightlander, but is there any wisdom to convince me otherwise. I don't
think the extra stops on the Nikon are going to do me much good without a RF
coupling.

Thoughts appreciated.
Roger
