The lens should be cleaned as it is possible the fungus hasn't cut into the glass yet. The last one in mint condition went for more than $20,000 attached to a mint SP. Even the lens hood if it is in good condition is worth hundreds. Try e-mailing Stephen Gandy: get his address at cameraquest.com and asking for suggestions. Who knows, maybe the local shop owner will reward you with a good deal on the wide angle if all goes best.
