Have you checked Don Chatterton's web page. The equivalent R lenses are a
lot cheaper, at least used.  My M6TTL and 35/1.4 asph and 75/1.4 cost about
$ 5100.00 and my R8, 24/2.8, 35/1.4 and 80/1.4 cost about $ 3800.00  At
least here in the US.
