Jim--
I shoot Velvia at asa40.
I shoot E100VS at asa100.
So, my preference is for the 100VS since it's asa100 (& grain & color 
are very close to Velvia).
Sooooo sorry for the confusion.

[PS--that said, some do like to push Velvia one stop and shoot at 80. 
There was at least one NatGeoSoc photog that did that. Don't know if 
he still does.]
