:-) 'Simplicity' is often the term used to describe a product with very few
features by those who love the product. I would point out that some of the
people who are now raving about the modern miracle of AE on the M7 long
defended the M6's lack of such techno-frippery and praised Leica for not
being foolish enough to corrupt the M line with it.;-)

Simplicity indeed!

"Simplicity" or just lack of features? It seems to me that Rolfe's query
points up 1 situation where the Contax G2 (or Hexar RF, or any camera w/a
separate AE lock) is superior to the M7 & where the M6 (or any manual
camera) isn't that much harder to use.

Good point - and true.
Only workaround would be to go to manual and lock in the settings.
But hey, the aperture priority is really a joy to use.

Coming from a Contax G2, the simplicity is of the M7 is wonderfully
freeing.
Most of all, I appreciate the quiet shutter (sound of one hand clapping
next
to the G2)
