Once somebody else has one bigger and better (in this example say a 14 mp
vs. an 11 mp digicam), the need to keep up with the competition overrides
rational thought process.  Very few pros in the photo game will be willing
to admit the guy across the street has more juice or "mp."  As I said
before, I am amazed at the rationalizations people have for spending
colossal sums of money on digital when logic tells you we are deep in a
growth curve of a nascent technology that is still changing so rapidly
obsolesce is barely ahead of product introduction.
