Subject: RE: [Leica] Summilux vs Summicron vs Elmarit

Hi Tom,

There is no 50/2.8 Elmarit for the Leica reflex cameras. Regarding the
50 Summilux and the Summicron, the latest Summicron wins hands down while
the latest Summilux might be pretty close to the Summicron. However, the
older Summicron and the Summilux are better built with all metal even if
they are heftier.

Regards,
David

Folks,

Regarding the 50mm lenses for the R system: What are people's opinions on
the different types (f/1.4, 2, 2.8)?

Thanks,

	Tom
