Subject: [Leica] Leica normal lenses

I rejoined this group because I am considering getting a new Leica 50 mm
lens. I was hoping to be able to find this groups opinion on the new
Summicron 50. I have a 50 Summilux from the 70's that I'm not totally
thrilled with. My other two lenses are the 35 Summilux-M Asph and the 90 Apo
Summicron-M, which seem nearly perfect. The 50 just doesn't measure up to
these.

So, would a 50 Summicron-M be of comparable quality (resolution, contrast,
etc.)? I'm afraid that if I buy a new lens, Leica will come out with a new
Apo-Summicron 50 just to spite me. It seems to me that a new 50 is due.
