Yeah, I'd heard a rumour that the Gwaltney clan had absconded from their
ownership of the Surrey Inn.  And, yes, the ferry was free the last time I
went over it but, in this pay-as-you-go Commonwealth, that can change with
a tip of the Governor's cap.

I still think that a Leica groupment of some sort should wander over to the
place during the LHSA meeting next October.  It is a wonderful opportunity
for low-light photography of honest native types as well as informed tourists.
