Thanks so much, Ted.  I rarely use flash, for one thing it hardly ever looks right to me.  Most of the time if I can't shoot available light, I just pass on the shot.

Sonny, mon ami,
Absolutely first class and once again points out you are a master of seeing
and using the light you see by. Absolutely no need for flash, fill or other
form of lights, as it's shooting with what is the motivating light of the
moment.

As interestingly composed as these are it's the light creating the magic of
the photograph.

Besides flash would completely destroy the whole mood of the scene. And as
I've said before, "only an idiot would use flash here!" ;-)
