Eric,

Since you don't like Billingham, not sure this will do. Also very 
expensive, but quality on a par with your Leica. They will make it in black 
if you don't like the usual way it comes. Water-resistant and a front pouch 
for a filter, film, a microfibre cloth and brush if you want. Fits my MP 
with 35 ASPH and 12504 hood fitted. Takes mere seconds to pull out the 
camera to shoot and seems to give reasonable protection.
