Well I have a strong interest in Digital R for Leica - back or body - even
though I have no investment in Leica R glass. Yet.

The existence and viability of Digital R would easily get me into Leica R
glass.
I am into M glass and that's why I'm here on the LUG.
I am into Nikon glass and that's my digital SLR so far.

MY Nikon film bodies need to be played with by somebody they are sure not
even fondled much my me. Maybe somebody should run some film though them so
the rails don't rust.

But I do agree with BD that if Nikon came out with a digital body it would
not have issues with swap-ability. They'd surely learn from Leica's lesson
and not have that happen. It's not like they're some very small company
playing with a new technology which is totally foreign to them.
Like Leica.
