Eric,
Best bet might be a pre-owned 1, 2 or 3 meg camera.  Would be built better
then a new $50 one and will pretty much do everything he needs.
Then there is always the new disposable digital cameras Ritz and others are
now flogging.

thanks to everyone - but I am looking for a <$40-50 digi cam, one button,
durable camera!
I think they exist..

Buying a bunch of disposable (the word alone gives me shivers..) cameras is
prob best.
