I bought my first M3 about 10 yrs ago. I bought it for $650, I can still
sell it for $650.

I just bought a Nikon D1h for $500 to use as a fast BW dSLR. In 2001 the D1h
sold for $4500. Guess time will tell if anyone 30 yrs from now can still use
the D1h and consider it "classic".
