Yes, the R-D1 is only for the small class of people who wants a digital 
capture for their M lens, and don't mind paying the bucks to be the 
trailblazers. It's not like Epson is pointing a gun at anyone's head to 
make them buy the camera :-)

Everything has flaws. Even the MP has (unexcusable) dusty viewfinder and 
the (at least some people love it) rewind crank.
