Mark,
No hood, I truly was carrying the camera in my pocket.  I do have a
barndoor hood that will fit as well as the hood for the Elmar.  When
you want to travel light some times you risk what may come; although I
would not want to try shooting into the light with this lens.  It
would take way too much effort to get a printable image.
