Oh BOOOOOY - what a joy have I have to look forward to!

I didn't know they used the ones with the long shank on first knee
replacements. The one the Dr. showed ME didn't have it. Maybe he
didn't want me to faint dead away on the exam table!

Hopefully I'm putting this procedure off for a few years - trying to
drop a bunch of pounds quickly so I can put it off. The Dr says "You
get 15 years and you get to choose when those 15 years will happen."
I'm not 60 yet so I hope to make it into early 60s before I do. If I
stop being able to walk much then I know it's time.

And yes, I HAVE imagined that scenerio with nervous armed people
looking at my knee. And NO I won't take it off! ROFL. Idiots. Comic
relief maybe.

Thanks for the grins, Ted.
