Subject: [Leica] Re: Canon 5D + Leica Lens Exposure Question

Using my 5D and Leica lenses the exposure does shift as you stop down.

If I point my 5D/50mm Summicron at an even toned surface and take several
shots the exposure lightens as the lens is stopped down from f2 to about f4
or f5.6 - this can be easily seen by looking at the image and histogram.
Shooting in RAW normally gives enough latitude for this not to be a problem.

That sums up my experience with the 10D and 20D as well. Using 21, 35, 50,
80, 100, 180 and 400 leica glass with and without 2x and/or bellows have
shown no exposure issues that didn't come down to my own error.
