I 'm curious if  the art markets in Santa Fe haven't been created for 
the cultural elite to pass time and make investments. You know, between 
trips to stock up on bean curd and their regimen of haute coiffure 
events. Rather than involve B.D.'s name I could have just offered my 
opinion on Morando's work. Superficial, bland and completely lacking in 
what I think of as a visual voice. Heck, If I'd have bought Weston's 
pepper shot when I had the chance ($40) I could sell it an move to Santa 
Fe. :-P
