Sure, the rational actor as you call him will grin as the Mongol Horde
rides over the horizon, rapes his wife and daughters, and burns his farm.
We fight for our survival.  I have no firearm close at hand but I do know
how to fight and I can be a vicious SOB if my own survival calls for this.
I do have my Dad's saber close by, and that might do to eliminate a Nasty
Guy.  But, then, my dog would have shredded the fellow before he got up the
steps, so what is the problem?  Do NOT ever argue with a Border Collie!
