In my opinion, the CS2 upgrade is the biggest leap forward Photoshop
has made. CS2 is so much better in so many ways. Bridge and Camera
Raw plus the improvements in Bicubic Smooth upsizing, Smart
sharpening, the Spot Healing Brush I use every day. Here is a pdf
that explains the
differences: http://www.adobeevangelists.com/pdfs/pscs2/pscs2new.pdf

Of course, if Adobe continues to improve LightRoom, you may not need
to use Bridge. I think there's a pretty good chance they are coming
out with another upgrade that will include LightRoom soon. You may
want to wait a few more months since you've waited this long.
