Agreed.  but the quantity question is also easy to answer.  More people now 
have the ability to do digital. 
   
  How can you post without either a digital camera, a scanner, or a means to 
obtain a digital file ?  I have to wait for a chance to take the film to a 
one-hour photo and get a CD as well as prints.  No chance for slides !

Absolutely agree. A snapshot of the LUG is like a snapshot of geology; from 
one day to the next very little seems to change, yet over time huge 
differences will be too obvious to ignore. Keep pushing that button, the 
pictures keep getting better.
