Or maybe the camerais not winding the film quite tightly enough, and when
he takes the film out to seal the end, a little  light gets in ?

Do you roll the film off every time when you shoot the last exposure, or do
you let it sit in the camera  for a while?   Are you shooting 220 (unbacked)
or 120 (backed).   Have you taken a flashlight to the camera in a darlkened
room, and snooped for a leak?

Does it happen with EVERY roll?   If it  does, have you tried stopping in
mid-roll and winding the rest off, and process to check for a leak?
