Frank,

Its closer to $30 per roll if film and processing/print is considered, and 
that was 4 years ago when I went to Europe and shot 67 rolls of film in one 
month.  I'm sure Ted or Tina would have shot 5 or six times this much.  ;-)

This year with the M8, it will not cost me anything to shoot the same number 
or more photos.  Processing is only the time it takes to download into my 
laptop or external HD.  I will be taking my M6TTL for backup to the M8, and 
also my R8 for SLR photos.  But the main thrust of my photography over there 
will be with the M8.

If the only time you shoot large numbers of photos is when you go on a 
vacation to Europe or other far away location, then yes it will be hard to 
justify buying any mid to high end digital camera.

I don't know of anyone on here that looks down their noses at film users.
