Hi Len,

I have purchased a cosmetically minty IIIF on e-Bay and sand to the God of
the Leica Malcolm Taylor in UK, he has just today called me saying that my
camera has been fully serviced with a new rangefinder and shutter mechanism,
it cost me some money (some other I've been recoveed by the inssurance), and
next week I'll have a IIIF as new as if I had purchased it on the factory on
the 50's!

I've not yet saw the pictures with the Elmar 65 I've purchased to Tony
Rose...., last time I was very busiy on my work!

Thanks for your always kind words

Cordially
Luis

Hi Luis,

I found in the last few months I have been enjoying taking more photos with
film and the older LTM gear. I like the Elmar 3.5. I have
3 versions and even though my red scale gives sharper images, the nickel one
is the most fun to use. Along with a black/nickel II or III body.

Did you ever find a mint IIIf to replace your lost one? I know I would hate
to lose mine.

Best Regards,
Len
