Agree but after the fall of the Berlin Wall - it was IWC that initiated
the re birth of Lange - and they did a very good job at that

IWC is owned by Richemont, together with A.Lange, Cartier, Jaeger LeCoultre,
Panerai, Vacheron, Piaget, Montblanc and Dunhill amongst other brands.
Richemont is owned by Johann Rupert, who is South African - the money and
cash flow comes principally from tobacco, they used to own Rothmans, and now
own about 30% of British American Tobacco.
