Hey S.D.,

Let's don't knock the old hardware that can no longer speak for itself.  I 
never used Soviet film, but I can speak for the Exacta/Exa family.  My 
Exacta died, but its little brother, the Exa, still marches on.  The link 
below shows what the Exa can do, even when equipped with another stepchild, 
the Steinheil 2.8/85mm Culminar lens.  I don't see an image problem.
