PMFJI = Pardon Me For Jumping In.

A useful internet acronym dictionary is found at
http://www.gaarde.org/acronyms/

As to the quality of the prints, remember the old maxim that there's
no accounting for taste. Plus, what I saw may have been work prints.
Or the images may have been reprinted later for the reproductions in
books. Or the reproductions may have enhanced the original prints.
And so on and so forth.

I have seen Smith prints in galleries that blew my socks off but I
don't know who made them, or when.
